The Trump administration of America has fired 2000 employees of USAID Agency (USAID) across the world. At the same time, orders have been issued to send thousands of people on leave.
However, those employees who have been considered essential have been kept apart from this. Pete Marocco, the Trump-appointed Deputy Administrator who runs USAID, has informed that as of 11:59 pm on February 23, all directly appointed employees of USAID are being sent on administrative leave.
Only those employees have been hired who are engaged in mission-critical work. Let us tell you that US District Judge Carl Nichols has rejected the employees’ petition to temporarily stop the order of the Trump government.
