Seattle, WA (November 2, 2025) — Seattle police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a 24-year-old man seriously injured early Saturday morning near the Sinking Ship Garage in Pioneer Square.

According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), officers initially responded around 4:30 a.m. to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Second Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a large crowd dispersing from the area. No witnesses reported hearing gunfire, and officers found no shell casings at the scene.

Several hours later, a 24-year-old man arrived at Harborview Medical Center with multiple stab wounds. Hospital staff confirmed the victim had sustained four wounds to his back, three to his scalp, one to his rib cage, and one to his right arm. His injuries were described as serious but non-life-threatening.

Investigators learned that the victim and his friends had been followed from a nearby nightclub by an unidentified group. When a fight erupted near the garage entrance, the victim attempted to intervene and was stabbed multiple times by one of the suspects.

The Homicide/Assault Unit has taken over the investigation. Detectives are working to identify the attacker and determine the circumstances leading up to the altercation.
