A stampede occurred during the annual Jatra (religious procession) at the Shirgaon temple in Goa on Friday. 6 people have been reported dead and 15 injured in the incident.
This incident happened when panic spread among the huge crowd, after which people started running here and there to save their lives. People present during the stampede said that the situation was very scary and people were trying to get out by falling over each other.
