Ever since the interim government of Bangladesh led by Professor Yunus Mohammad came to power, it has been trying to create wind in favor of the SAARC organization. In such a situation, India has tried to explain to Bangladesh in a warning tone that it should not take the issue of terrorism casually.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar himself said this to Tauheed Hossain, Advisor on Foreign Affairs (equivalent to the Foreign Minister) in the Government of Bangladesh. This was disclosed by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on Friday.

Along with this, the Ministry of External Affairs has expressed its displeasure over the continuous statements being made against the interests of India by some advisors of the interim government and has said that this will harm the efforts to improve bilateral relations.
