Seattle police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early morning at a convenience store in the 1600 block of SW Holden Street.
According to incident details, at approximately 3:18 a.m., a store clerk was held at gunpoint by a suspect during the robbery. The suspect fled the scene on foot but was later believed to have entered a waiting vehicle and escaped westbound.
Investigators noted that the suspect did not appear to be wearing gloves in surveillance footage. An item dropped during the incident was recovered at the scene and has been submitted for forensic processing to check for latent fingerprints.
Police are continuing to review evidence and surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation. No injuries were reported.
