Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the National Day celebrations of Mauritius. Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Ramgoolam shared this information on Friday. He said that PM Modi’s visit here is a proof of the strong and lasting relations between the two countries.
In his Parliament, PM Ramgoolam said that I am very happy to inform the House that on my invitation, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to be the chief guest at our National Day celebrations.
It is indeed a unique privilege for our country to host such an eminent personality who is giving us this honor despite his busy schedule and his recent visit to Paris and America. Ramgoolam said that PM Modi has agreed to come here as our special guest. Modi’s visit is a testament to the close relations between our two countries.
