Kent Police Department Celebrates National Police Week with Community Support

USAKent Police Department Celebrates National Police Week with Community Support

The Kent Police Department shared heartfelt appreciation during National Police Week, thanking local residents and businesses for showing support to officers and staff. According to the department’s social media post, officers were treated to homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, and pastries throughout the week.

Special thanks were given to Officer Sherwood’s wife for bringing fresh homemade cinnamon rolls, as well as Starbucks and Wild Wheat Bakery for donating coffee and baked goods to help boost morale for morning crews.

The department said the thoughtful gestures and conversations from community members have made the week especially meaningful for officers serving the Kent community.
