Renton, WA — The Renton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an arson investigation following a fire at a local Walmart on Friday evening.
According to investigators, the individual pictured in surveillance footage arrived at the store in a white Cadillac Escalade and proceeded directly to the women’s lingerie section. The suspect was briefly captured on video crouching in the area where the fire later started. After the flames erupted, the suspect allegedly returned to the Cadillac and left the scene as Walmart was being evacuated.
Authorities have released surveillance images of both the individual and the vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to the case to come forward.
