Maha Kumbh 2025 has been completed on the banks of Triveni. Many records have been made with the completion. One of them is the record of airline service. There were 5,363 flights and 574,788 passenger movements in 48 days. This also included 1,799 charter flights, which carried 5,429 unique passengers.

Although Mahakumbh was organized from 13th January to 26th February (45 days), but operation of Mahakumbh special flights started from 11th January and on the first day, 2991 passengers were transported by 28 flights. For the first time on February 7, 12742 passengers were transported on 110 flights. Whereas on February 17, for the first time, 19908 passengers arrived via flight 203.

From 17 to 26 February, the number of flights every day crossed 200. In this, the biggest record of traffic of 282 flights was made on 24th February. Whereas on February 25, the maximum traffic was 27322 passengers. There was less crowd at the airport on the main bathing festivals. But after Mauni Amavasya, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at the airport.

If we look at the figures of the past years, there used to be a maximum of 30 flights a day at Prayagraj Airport. But during Mahakumbh, 288 flights took place in a single day. There were also 128 charter flights on 24 February at the airport which had no charter flights for months.
