Investigation revealed that Himani lived alone at her house in Vijay Nagar, Rohtak. Himani’s family lives in Delhi. Accused Sachin had become friends with the girl on Facebook about a year ago. Sachin used to come to Himani’s house. Both of them kept talking through mobile and social media.
Rohtak Police took immediate action in the case of the body of an unknown girl found in a suitcase in a suspicious condition and arrested the accused, solving two crimes within 36 hours. With efforts by the police team, the body was identified within 12 hours.
