Tahawwur Rana, accused of 26/11 Mumbai attack, is trying to avoid extradition. Now he has played a new trick. Tahawwur Rana has reached the US Supreme Court and has accused India of torture. He demanded a stay on extradition.
The petition said that if this is not done in time, the case will go out of the jurisdiction of the US courts and the petitioner will die soon. Rana also claimed that if he faces trial in India, there is little chance of survival.
Earlier on January 21, the US Supreme Court had rejected Rana’s petition. In this, he had challenged the decision of the lower court.
