RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s troubles have increased once again. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned him for questioning on March 19 in the land-for-job case. News agency PTI has given this information quoting official sources.
Some of his family members have also been called for questioning in the same case. Sources said their statements are to be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). However, sources said Prasad and his family members are not expected to appear before the agency.
Last year, the ED had filed a chargesheet in a Delhi court in the case against Lalu Prasad’s family members, naming his wife Rabri Devi and his daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, besides some others, as accused.
