As part of efforts to end the Ukraine war, US President Donald Trump will talk to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the phone on Tuesday. During this time, the development of bilateral relations can also be discussed.
By doing so, Trump will demonstrate his strong will to end the Ukraine war and will also send a message of change in the anti-Russia US foreign policy. Trump told reporters about the proposed talks with Russian President Putin aboard Air Force One while traveling from Florida to Washington.

A few hours later, the Kremlin also confirmed the schedule of talks between Putin and Trump. Trump said, “There is still a lot of work to be done to end the war in Ukraine. Despite this, if we consider it necessary, we will tell everyone about Tuesday’s talks.”
At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that it is not possible to say anything about the talks to be held on Tuesday. As of now, nothing has been progressed much on any matter, so it would not be appropriate to speculate about the talks between the two presidents and make the topics public.
