London’s Heathrow Airport has been closed for the entire day today due to a major power crisis. This has been done because the power supply has been disrupted due to a fire in a nearby electrical substation. Due to which all flights to and from the airport have been canceled.
The airport announced, ‘Due to a fire at an electrical substation supplying power to the airport, Heathrow is experiencing a severe power outage. Thousands of homes in west London have lost power.
