The tariff war between America and China does not seem to be stopping at the moment. Both countries are taking action after action against each other. On April 2, US President Donald Trump announced a 34 percent tariff, in protest against which China imposed the same tariff on America.
America had increased the tariff from 34 percent to 84 percent and then to 125 percent. Then when China responded to this tariff, America has now imposed a 245% tariff on China. China’s reaction has come after the announcement of imposing 245 percent tariff.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said China is not afraid of fighting a trade war.
