Indian Army jawan Gurpreet Singh, who spied for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, and his partner Sahil Masih received Rs 2 lakh in the last two months. This amount was transferred online, which Gurpreet deposited in the bank account of his partner Sahil.

It has also come to light that during Operation Sindoor, Gurpreet had sent information about several military bases to ISI. On the other hand, the court has sent both the accused on two-day police remand and they will be produced in court again on Tuesday. SSP Maninder Singh said that investigation has revealed that apart from Jammu, Gurpreet Singh has also done duty in Delhi Cantt and Meerut Cantt.

Police suspect that he was in contact with ISI agent Rana Javed for a long time. He has provided information about several military bases in Jammu as well as Delhi, Meerut and Punjab to ISI through Rana Javed. Gurpreet, a resident of Dhaliwal, was introduced to Rana Javed by a drug smuggler from the village named Arjan. He is currently living in Dubai. The police officer said that LOC will be issued to Arjan soon. The father of the arrested Gurpreet Singh is a sevadar in the Gurudwara Sahib of the village. Both the accused are lodged in Fatehpur jail.
