As vote counting commenced at 8am on Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party took an early lead crossing the majority mark, followed by the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, as per poll trends
Key AAP leaders, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal (New Delhi) and and Manish Sisodia (Jangpura), were leading in their respective constituencies. Congress candidates Sandeep Dikshit (New Delhi) and Alka Lamba (Kalkaji) also lagged behind. Meanwhile, BJP’s Kapil Mishra (Karawal Nagar) is leading and Parvesh Verma (New Delhi) is trailing as per early poll trends.
