Relations between Russia and America are constantly improving and positivity is now being seen in the relations between the two countries. Putin also expressed his desire to meet the US President.
Despite Trump’s repeated appeals, the Russian President continued the war with Ukraine. Relations between the US and Russia soured when Putin refused to end the war with Ukraine. On Friday (27 June), the Russian President said during a press conference in Minsk – ‘It is because of President Donald Trump that relations between Russia and America have started improving. Although nothing has been decided politically yet, but Russia will be the first to take the initiative for this.
Also, both the countries have taken initiative regarding the Israel-Iran war and the ongoing disputes with Ukraine along with the Middle East and we talked on the phone about this issue after almost two weeks The Russian President further said- ‘Russia is now ready to negotiate peace talks with Ukraine. Peace talks were held twice under the leadership of America, but no major results came out. However, there are still deep differences between the two countries on the terms.
But Moscow is ready for new peace talks, which could be held in Istanbul. The time and place have not yet been decided. Putin acknowledged that there were a lot of differences between the previous talks and proposals, but he is hopeful that a solution can be found through dialogue. Speaking to journalists in Minsk, Putin said that the heads of the two countries are in regular contact.
