Saif Ali Khan will face a loss of Rs 15000 crores, can he lose his ancestral property?

ENTERTAINMENTSaif Ali Khan will face a loss of Rs 15000 crores, can he lose his ancestral property?

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s name is currently in the news for his ancestral property worth Rs 15000 crore in Bhopal. The case has taken a new turn after the Madhya Pradesh High Court decided to hear the case again, due to which Saif’s troubles may increase.

In such a situation, let us know what are the reasons due to which Saif Ali Khan and his family may lose the royal heritage of Bhopal. Saif Ali Khan’s great grandfather was Hamidullah Khan, the last Nawab of Bhopal. It was from him that Saif and his family inherited this property worth Rs 15,000 crores, which is now in danger of slipping out of their hands.

The reason for this is the decision of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in which the decision of the trial court of Bhopal in the year 2000 has been rejected, under which it was said that the real owners of this Nawabi property of Bhopal are Saif Ali Khan, his mother Sharmila Tagore and sister Soha Ali Khan. The High Court has ordered a re-hearing on the entire matter and a deadline of one year has been set for bringing a result on it.

In fact, other heirs of Nawab Hamidullah Khan had filed a petition in the court regarding this property matter. They believed that this entire dispute should be heard on the basis of Muslim Personal Law Act 1937. In 1999, a petition was filed on his behalf in the lower court of Bhopal regarding the matter of property worth Rs 15000 crores.

The verdict on this case was in favour of Saif Ali Khan and his family 25 years ago. Now the Madhya Pradesh High Court has cancelled the verdict of the trial court and ordered a retrial. In the year 2014, a notice was issued to Saif Ali Khan by the Central Government. In which it was said that his royal family’s property worth 15 thousand crores will be declared enemy property, which will be applicable under the Enemy Property Act of 1968.Actually, the meaning of the Enemy Property Act is that if any member of the family of the real heir of the property goes to Pakistan and acquires citizenship there, then this Act will be applicable on his property
