Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Thursday morning. As soon as the news of the earthquake spread, people came out of their homes. People in Delhi-NCR, who were facing heavy rains, traffic jams and waterlogging since Wednesday night, were frightened by strong earthquake tremors on Thursday morning. People came out of their houses in fear. These earthquake tremors were also felt in the areas around Delhi.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicentre of the earthquake was Jhajjar in Haryana. The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4 on the Richter scale and its depth was 10 km below the ground. The time of the earthquake was 9:04:50 AM. The tremors of the earthquake were felt intensely in Delhi as well as in the areas of Haryana and UP.
At around 9 in the morning, when most people were preparing to go to office, suddenly the earth started shaking. In the initial information, there is no report of any kind of damage from anywhere.
