Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in a flat in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-VI in Karachi on Tuesday (July 8). It came as a shock to many to learn that 32-year-old Humaira had died almost two weeks before her body was found by police officers.
Humaira appeared in ARY’s reality show “Tamasha Ghar”, which has a concept similar to “Big Brother”. She also appeared in the 2015 action-thriller film “Jalaibee”. In this Pakistani film, she appeared as a model. Humaira has also been a part of other Pakistani dramas like Just Married, Chal Dil Mere, Ehsaan Faramosh and Guru. She was last seen in the film Love Vaccine, starring Farhan Saeed and Sonya Hussain in the lead roles. The film was released in 2021.Geo News further reported that the suspicion over her absence grew further when neighbours realised that they had not seen the actress for a while.
She gained further recognition in the year 2022 when she joined the reality show “Tamasha Ghar” aired on ARY Digital. She also received the Best Emerging Talent and Rising Star award at the National Women Leadership Award in 2023. As soon as news of Humaira Asghar Ali’s death surfaced online, several more reports emerged, including one that stated that neighbours raised an alarm after a foul smell emanated from her apartment.
