The Indian women’s cricket team has created history by winning the T20 series on England’s soil for the first time. The team defeated the England women’s team by 6 wickets in the fourth T20 match. The team is leading 3-1 in the five-match series.

Radha Yadav, who took 2 wickets for 15 runs, was chosen as the Player of the Match. Meanwhile, Deepti Sharma has completed 300 wickets in Women’s International Cricket. The fifth and last T20 match will be played on July 12 at Edgbaston. After that, a three-match ODI series will be played.

England won the toss and decided to bat first in the match played on Wednesday. The team scored 126 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Sophia Dunkley scored the highest 22 runs. Radha Yadav and Shri Charani took 2-2 wickets for India. In reply, Smriti Mandhana (32) and Shafali Verma (31) smashed knocks as India won the match by 4 wickets in 17 overs.

Deepti Sharma has completed 300 wickets in women’s international cricket. She achieved this feat by taking 1 wicket in the fourth T20 match against England. Deepti has now become the second highest wicket-taker in women’s T20 International. She has taken 145 wickets in 128 matches. Only Australia’s Megan Schutt is ahead of Deepti, who has 151 wickets to her name.
