A massive fire broke out in a hypermarket in Al-Kut city in eastern Iraq. 60 people died in this accident. The video of the fire in the building went viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that a five-storey building in Al-Kut city caught fire at night and flames can be seen far and wide. However, the fire brigade is continuously trying to control the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The governor of Al-Kut said the initial results of the investigation would be announced within 48 hours, reports news agency INA.
