A police complaint has been filed against Mohammed Shami’s ex-wife Hasin Jahan and their 10-year-old daughter Arshi Jahan. Neighbor Dalia Khatun in Birbhum district of West Bengal has made serious allegations against Hasin and Arshi like attempted murder, conspiracy and assault.
The dispute between Haseen and neighbour Dalia was over land. There is a piece of land in Sonator area of ward number 5 of Suri Municipality in Birbhum district, which is in the name of Arshi. Dalia claims that this land is disputed. When Haseen started construction on that land, a fight broke out between the two parties. In a video viral on social media, Haseen is seen fighting with Dalia in a black T-shirt and jeans.
Locals say that Dalia suffered head injuries in the quarrel and had to be admitted to Suri Sadar Hospital. Dalia alleged that Haseen and her daughter tried to murder her. An FIR has been filed against Haseen and Arshi at Suri Police Station. Haseen has also filed a counter complaint against Kazi Farzuddin, the husband of a local Trinamool councillor. The police have registered a case and started investigation. The viral video and witness statements are being examined. No arrests have been made yet.
Locals have demanded strict action against Haseen, alleging that she threatens neighbours and uses foul language. Haseen is yet to comment on the matter.
