Pakistan’s Lashkar-e-Taiba-linked organization TRF (The Resistance Front) is furious after being declared a terrorist organization. America has declared TRF a terrorist organization for the attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.The Shahbaz government of Pakistan has reacted to the declaration of TRF as a terrorist group by issuing a press release. Pakistan said that it strongly condemns all forms of terrorism.
Shahbaz government says that Pakistan has always stood at the forefront against terrorism and its contribution to global peace cannot be ignored. Pakistan has cited the arrest of Sharifullah, the mastermind of the ‘AB Gate bomb blast’, as an example of this. Pakistan has said that the investigation into the Pahalgam attack has not been completed yet and it would be hasty to reach any conclusion.Pakistan has described the area as “internationally disputed” and rejected India’s claim of direct involvement of terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the matter, saying it is against “ground realities”.
Pakistan has said that Lashkar-e-Taiba is an inactive and banned organization in Pakistan, which has been completely eliminated.The top leaders of the organization have been arrested and action has been taken against them. Pakistan said that this matter is related to US domestic laws, but India uses these international forums to defame Pakistan and ‘divert international attention’.
