Another social media influencer was murdered in Pakistan. The body of TikTok star Sumira Ratput was found in suspicious condition. Sumira’s body was found in Bago Wah area of Ghotki district of Sindh. Recently, TikTok star Sana Yusuf was shot dead. According to media reports, a man was pressuring Sumira for marriage. Police suspect murder. Sumira also has a 15-year-old daughter. She said that she was murdered by giving poisonous tablets.
Let us tell you that Sumira’s daughter is also a content creator. She has 58 thousand followers on TikTok. The police have detained a person in this case. However, the real reason behind the murder is not yet known. Ghotki police officer Anwar Sheikh informed that Sumira’s daughter has accused a man of poisoning her mother. Being a female social media influencer in Pakistan is not without risks. Last month, 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousuf was shot dead in her home.
Sana had 7.4 lakh followers on TikTok and nearly 5 lakh followers on Instagram. This was the third case of murder of a female social media influencer in Pakistan in the last five months.
