Music lovers are in for a night of electrifying entertainment as Uptown, the dynamic R&B and pop vocal group, takes the stage at the Kentwood High School Performing Arts Center. Sponsored by the Kent Community Foundation Performing Arts Fund, the event promises a high-octane blend of smooth vocals, precision choreography, and irresistible rhythm.

Known for their Bruno Mars–caliber stage presence and seamless harmonies, Uptown fuses the sounds of classic Motown soul with the fresh hits of today, creating a show that gets every audience on their feet.

Formed in New York City, the group draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, while infusing their own modern flair into every performance. Each member of Uptown is a powerhouse soloist in their own right, but together they create an unforgettable musical experience that bridges generations of R&B and pop.
