USASeattle Police Arrest Two Teens in Armed Carjacking Incident in North Seattle

Seattle, WA —
Seattle police arrested two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, following an armed carjacking that occurred Friday night in North Seattle.

Around 9:30 p.m. on November 8, officers responded to reports of an armed carjacking in the 6200 block of Northeast Radford Drive. According to police, multiple suspects confronted the victim, and one pointed a gun while demanding his car keys and cell phone. The group then fled in the victim’s vehicle.

Seattle officers immediately alerted BMW to the stolen vehicle, allowing the company to assist in real-time tracking of the car’s location. After approximately 30 minutes, police located the stolen vehicle near a grocery store in Northgate.

Officers quickly converged on the area and arrested a 15-year-old girl who was found inside the car. A 17-year-old male suspect, already known to police for prior robbery and assault offenses, fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance away.

Two additional suspects escaped and remain at large. A King County Sheriff’s Office K9 team assisted in the search but was unable to locate the remaining individuals. The stolen vehicle was recovered and impounded for further evidence processing.

Both arrested teens were booked into the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center for Investigation of Robbery. The case remains under active investigation by the Seattle Police Department’s Robbery Unit.
