WESTERN WASHINGTON — Residents across Western Washington experienced another misty and fog-filled start to the day Friday, with visibility reduced in many areas from Seattle to Everett and surrounding communities.
According to Washington Weather Chasers, a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for select portions of the Puget Sound region until 10 a.m. Commuters were urged to use caution, allow extra travel time, and keep headlights on in low-visibility zones.
Satellite and radar imagery this morning showed widespread moisture and fog across large sections of Western Washington. Conditions are expected to remain similar into tomorrow, with another cool, damp morning likely.
Forecasters remind drivers that dense fog can develop quickly and significantly reduce visibility, especially near waterways, valleys, and lowland areas.
Despite the gray start, many residents are also looking ahead to weekend plans — with some already talking about watching the upcoming game.
