USARenton Police Conclude Dungeons & Dragons Club After Successful Campaign

Renton, WA — The Renton Police Department has wrapped up its latest community-building initiative—an in-house Dungeons & Dragons club that brought officers, city staff, and community partners together through tabletop fantasy adventures.

According to the department, the campaign reached its finale this week after players closed in on a major mystery, battled a powerful spirit, and confronted shadow creatures along the way. Their in-game victories were met with real-world rewards: a celebratory feast, paid bonuses, and a chance to solve two final magical puzzles.

Detective Seibert served as Dungeon Master for the campaign, guiding participants through quests, challenges, and collaborative storytelling. Photos shared by the department show players gathered around tables, rolling dice, painting miniatures, and fully immersing themselves in the fantasy world.

The Renton Police Department also thanked Shane’s Card Shop, Wizards of the Coast, city staff, and the parents of participating youths for their support. The initiative, which blended recreation with relationship-building, appears to have been a success among participants.

RPD says a new campaign is already in the works for the coming year, with more updates expected soon.
