Kent, WA — Motorists are advised to plan ahead as several downtown roads will be temporarily closed on Saturday, December 6, 2025, to accommodate the annual Winter Parade, according to Kent Public Works officials.
The closures will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as parade participants move through the city.
Affected Roadways:

W Smith Street will be closed between 1st Avenue North and 4th Avenue North

2nd Avenue North will be closed between W Titus Street and W Smith Street
Traffic control officers and signage will be in place to assist with detours and maintain safety throughout the event.
Officials urge drivers to use alternate routes during the closure window and allow extra travel time.
