SEATTLE, WA — The Seattle Mariners announced plans to immortalize franchise icon Ichiro Suzuki with a statue outside T-Mobile Park in 2026, honoring one of the most celebrated careers in baseball history.
Following what the organization described as an “unforgettable 2025” season connected to No. 51, the Mariners confirmed the tribute in a social media post, calling the moment a lasting recognition of Ichiro’s legendary impact on the team, the city, and Major League Baseball.
As part of the celebration, fans are invited to attend Ichiro Replica Statue Night on Friday, April 10, at T-Mobile Park. The special promotional night will give fans the chance to commemorate the milestone with a limited-edition replica statue honoring the Hall of Famer’s legacy.
