Renton, Washington — Aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage founders are invited to attend an upcoming startup branding workshop hosted by the City of Renton in partnership with Startup425.
The interactive workshop will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Renton Library, located at 100 Mill Ave S. The public event is free and open to anyone interested in building or refining a startup brand.
Designed for founders at the pre-seed and early stages, the session will focus on the fundamentals of brand management, emphasizing that branding begins with the founder’s clarity, vision, and pitch—long before polished marketing campaigns or finished products. Participants will learn how early branding decisions influence long-term success, from value proposition and positioning to marketing strategy and go-to-market planning.
The workshop will be led by Gaurav Malhotra, who will guide attendees through real-world examples, actionable strategies, and a practical workbook designed to help founders create buzz, attract venture capital, engage co-founders, hire early team members, and connect with customers. The event will conclude with a coworking session to encourage networking and collaboration.
