After the latest tension in relations between India and Bangladesh, China can become the new destination for treatment for Bangladeshi citizens. Till now, Bangladeshi patients were treated in hospitals in India, especially in Kolkata, but now they are being asked to turn to China.

Talks are going on between China and Bangladesh to easily grant visa to Bangladeshi patients, so that the patients do not face any problem. Apart from this, plans are also being made to recruit translators to facilitate communication between patients and the hospital administration.

Bangladeshi media reported that Bangladesh Prime Minister Mohammad Yunus had recently approached China to set up a Bangladesh-China Friendship Hospital in Dhaka. After this, China has asked for a detailed proposal from the Bangladesh government for the construction of the hospital.
