Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has appealed to President Donald Trump to help defuse the growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
He says that just as President Trump is trying to resolve conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, he should also take steps to restore peace in South Asia.
In an interview to the American magazine Newsweek, Rizwan Saeed said, “We have a president who stands for peace in the world in this era of governance, who intends to end wars, prevent conflicts and solve issues, So there cannot be any other flash point more important and dangerous (especially from the nuclear perspective) than Kashmir.”
