Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the Australia team for the World Test Championship final. The team will play the final against South Africa at Lord’s ground in England from 11 to 15 June. All-rounder Cameron Green has returned to the team. Green last played a Test in March 2024 before suffering a back injury.

Fast bowler Pat Cummins will lead the 15-member team. The Australian team will defend its title in the third final of the WTC.Young Sam Constas, who made his debut against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, has also got a place in the final team. Apart from this, Brendan Doggett has got a place in the team as a traveling reserve. Brendan was the player of the match in the Sheffield Shield final.

Captain Pat Cummins and fellow fast bowler Josh Hazlewood are also making a comeback in the Test team. Both players missed the Champions Trophy due to injury and later made a comeback in IPL 2025. However, Hazlewood could not play the last match for his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore due to a shoulder injury.
