NATIONAL'Baba Ramdev's comment is not forgivable', Delhi High Court reprimanded him

The Delhi High Court expressed displeasure over Baba Ramdev’s Sharbat Jihad comment against Hamdard’s Rooh Afza and said that the comment has shaken the conscience of the court and it is unforgivable. The court made this comment while hearing Hamdard’s case against Ramdev.

Recently, Ramdev, while promoting Patanjali’s rose syrup, claimed that the money earned from Hamdard’s Rooh Afza is used to build madrasas and mosques. Later, Ramdev defended his remarks, saying he did not name any brand or community.

Let us tell you that Hamdard has filed a case against Ramdev demanding the removal of Ramdev’s video from social media. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing on behalf of Hamdard, said that this is a shocking case as well as a case of communal division. He said Ramdev’s remarks amounted to hate speech.
