ENTERTAINMENTBan on Diljit Dosanjh lifted for Border 2, FWICE agreed to the producer's demand only on this condition

Diljit Dosanjh is making headlines for his upcoming film Border 2. Recently, his film Sardar Ji 3 was released in which questions were raised on the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. For this, he is being badly trolled. Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cinema Employees (FWICE) had protested against his casting in Border 2.

It was being said that FWICE has banned Diljit Dosanjh and he has been dropped from Border 2, but yesterday the actor dismissed all the rumours by sharing his video from the sets of the film. Meanwhile, the latest statement of FWICE has come out in which it has been revealed that the federation has lifted the ban on Diljit only for Border 2.

Yes, after the casting of Hania Aamir in Sardar Ji 3, angry FWICE had banned Diljit Dosanjh, but Border 2 producer Bhushan Kumar personally requested the federation to allow Diljit to work in the film. FWICE President BN Tiwari said- ‘Bhushan Kumar had requested him to allow Diljit to shoot’. Bhushan Kumar has promised FWICE that he will only let Diljit work in Border 2 and after that he will not cast him in any other film. Diljit has agreed to this condition. On the other hand, FWICE member Ashok Pandit has expressed his disagreement. Diljit Dosanjh is playing the role of an army officer in Border 2. The Anurag Singh-directed film will also feature Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Sunil Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty. The film will release in theatres on January 23 next year.
