The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Pakistan has claimed that it has caused heavy damage to the government machinery by attacking 39 places including army, police and several government establishments.
BLA, which has been fighting for the independence of Balochistan for decades, suddenly became active during Pakistan’s conflict with India and carried out 39 attacks in a few hours. The organization has given this information by issuing a press release.
BLA spokesperson Jiyand Baloch said that the organization’s operations are continuing. He said that the organization’s fighters have attacked and damaged army convoys, police stations, several highways and government bases. The organization has also captured several police stations and blocked many roads in the province. Detailed information about the organization’s actions and the hideouts captured will be given soon.
BLA says that the region has a huge amount of natural resources. The Pakistan government is using these reserves for its own benefit but the people of the province are not getting anything. When matters of interest are raised, the Pakistani army persecutes and makes the Baloch disappear. This has been going on for decades. The number of missing people is in thousands. It is feared that most of them were killed.
