In the first match of Champions Trophy 2025, New Zealand team came to bat after losing the toss and gave the class of Pakistan bowlers. Two New Zealand batsmen made a special record by scoring centuries at the National Stadium in Karachi.

After Will Young, Tom Latham scored a century in 95 balls. With this, Young and Latham have also joined the exclusive club. This is the 8th ODI century of Will Young’s career and the first ODI century against Pakistan. Latham remained unbeaten after scoring 118 runs on 104 balls. During this, he also hit 10 fours and 3 sixes.

Will Young and Tom Latham have now joined the list of batsmen who have scored multiple centuries in a team innings in the Champions Trophy.
