Seattle, WA — October 18, 2025
An active investigation is underway at a North Seattle apartment after police responded to a call about a suicidal woman and discovered a child unresponsive in a bathtub.
According to a post from the Seattle Homicide Twitter account, officers arrived at the scene around 6620 Roosevelt Way NE after a distress call about a suicidal adult female. Upon entering the apartment, they found a child submerged in a bathtub and unresponsive.
Authorities have not yet released the condition of the child or the woman involved. The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is expected to provide an official update soon.
The area was cordoned off with crime scene tape, and multiple police units responded to the incident.
