India has imposed anti-dumping duty on four products coming from China. This has been imposed on products like vacuum flasks and aluminum foil. The government has taken this step to protect domestic companies from cheap imports. This decision was taken after the recommendation of DGTR, the investigation unit of the Commerce Ministry.
The Indian government has imposed anti-dumping duty on four products from China. This will provide relief to Indian companies. These duties have been imposed on those products which were being sold in India at a lower price than China. Acid is included. These products include soft ferrite cores, vacuum insulated flasks, aluminum foil, and trichloro isocyanuric acid.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs gave information about this. The board has issued separate notifications. The notification states that duty will be levied on soft ferrite core, vacuum insulated flask and trichloro isocyanuric acid for five years.
