Kent, WA: The future of flight is taking off in the Kent Valley as the City of Kent hosted the inaugural Future in Flight Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Expo on October 30. The event, sponsored by Boeing, brought together more than 700 local students eager to explore careers in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
The expo highlighted opportunities available through regional employers, colleges, and training partners in Washington State. Students had the chance to interact directly with industry professionals, learn about cutting-edge technologies, and gain insights into the skills needed to succeed in high-demand technical fields.
City officials praised the event as an inspiring platform for the next generation of innovators. Boeing and other exhibitors showcased products and programs designed to build awareness of aerospace advancements and workforce pathways.
