USACity of Renton Announces Traffic Impacts for March 2–6

The City of Renton has released a list of traffic impacts scheduled for the week of March 2 through March 6, 2026, as part of ongoing roadwork and infrastructure improvements across the city.

Drivers are advised to expect possible delays, lane closures, and intermittent detours in the following areas:

  1. SE 5th Street

  2. SE 6th Street

  3. N 6th Street

  4. NE 6th Street

  5. N 8th Street

  6. 108th Avenue SE

  7. 112nd Avenue SE

  8. SE 172nd Street

  9. Rainier Avenue N

  10. Union Avenue NE

  11. Houser Way N (under N Southport Drive)

City officials encourage motorists to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes when possible. Pedestrians and cyclists should also remain alert in construction zones.
