A proactive police operation in Ashford has led to the seizure of suspected Class A drugs, weapons, and the arrest of four individuals linked to drug supply offences.
The incident unfolded shortly after midday on Monday, April 13, 2026, in the Simone Weil Avenue area, where officers identified suspicious activity. A 20-year-old man was initially detained, and a search resulted in the recovery of two mobile phones. He was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the supply of controlled drugs.
Following the arrest, officers conducted searches at a nearby property, uncovering wraps believed to contain heroin and crack cocaine. Two 17-year-old boys were subsequently arrested in connection with drug-related offences.
Further enquiries led police to a second address in the area, where additional items including drug paraphernalia, cannabis, and knives were seized. A 42-year-old woman was also detained at the location.
All four suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
