Pakistan attacked 36 Indian locations late Thursday night using around 400 drones. However, all the attacks by Pakistan were foiled due to the Indian defense system S-400. Meanwhile, in a press briefing of the Foreign Ministry, Colonel Sofia Qureshi explained how the Pakistani Army is using its citizens as shields.
Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that when attacks were taking place from both sides, Pakistan did not close its airspace, but used it as a shield. When Pakistan carried out this attack on Thursday night, passenger planes were flying in big cities like Karachi and Lahore. Due to which the lives of common citizens were put at risk. This was dangerous for citizens traveling on all flights including international flights.
He further said that Indian security forces exercised restraint during this entire operation and limited the counter-attack so that civilians are not harmed; this defensive and sensitive stance is also being appreciated at the international level.
