Delhi: BJP is preparing to form 'triple engine' government, not double engine!
Three councilors of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined BJP on Saturday. In this way his chances of victory in the upcoming MCD Mayor elections have increased. Welcoming the councilors, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said Delhi will have a ‘triple engine’ government at the Centre, Assembly and municipal levels.
The three councilors who have joined BJP include Anita Basoya (Andrews Ganj), Nikhil Chaprana (Hari Nagar) and Dharamveer (RK Puram). Sachdeva said that the councilor has joined BJP to make Delhi a clean and beautiful city. In the wake of its recent landslide victory in the assembly elections, the BJP is eyeing a ‘triple engine government’ in Delhi by securing the mayor’s post.
