US President Donald Trump has once again raised questions on giving assistance to increase voting in India. Trump said that the then Biden government was taking wrong steps and its intentions also seemed to be something else.
US President Trump further said that Biden’s donation of approximately Rs 182 crore ($21 million) to India to increase voting raises a question whether he was “trying to get someone else elected”.
Speaking at a summit in Miami on Thursday, Trump said, why do we need to spend $21 million to increase voting in India? I think they were trying to get someone else elected. We have to tell the Indian government… this is absolutely a huge success.
