Diplomatic talks took place between India and China in a ‘positive and constructive’ atmosphere in Beijing. The Ministry of External Affairs gave this information. Let us tell you that the 33rd meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs (WMCC) was held today in the Chinese capital Beijing.
The Indian delegation was led by Joint Secretary (East Asia) Gauranglal Das and the Chinese delegation was led by Hong Liang, Director General of the Department of Boundary and Oceanic Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
During this, India and China agreed to make adequate preparations for the next special representative meeting. Also, a comprehensive review of the situation on the LAC was also done. India and China held a new diplomatic dialogue in Beijing in which the two countries considered a number of measures and proposals to give effect to the decisions taken during the last Special Representative talks.
