Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has reached America. Rahul Gandhi addressed a session of students at Brown University in the American city of Boston. In this, he raised the issue of Maharashtra Assembly elections and transparency of the Election Commission.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Election Commission has reached a compromise. In his address, Rahul Gandhi said that more people voted in Maharashtra elections than the adult population. The Election Commission released the voting figures at 5:30 pm. 65 lakh voters voted between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. But this is not physically possible.
Rahul Gandhi argued that it takes about 3 minutes to cast one vote. If you do a little math, it means that people would have been standing in line till 2 o’clock in the night. But that did not happen.
